These highly accurate and reliable compression spring coilers are controlled by industrial quality computers. Depending on the
model size, they are powered either by highly responsive brushless servomotors, or
(FUL 103) in combination with precision linear hydraulic drives. Spring diameter and pitch are controlled without cams, and can be set-up
quickly and accurately by dimensional data input through the keyboard to the
operator interface and vividly displayed on the TFT color screen, shown
above.
FUL Multi-Cut system
The Multi-Cut system is available for models FUL 25 through FUL 83 and it permits the user to select from three cutting systems, depending on the application at hand: Straight-cut, burr-free rotary-cut, and mandrel-less BREAK-Off cut, modes.
The models FUL 25, FUL 35, FUL 45, FUL 75 and FUL 83 can be equipped for
semi-automatic
change from
right to left hand coiling. Only the cutting tools must be manually exchanged.
PTP Pretension control
This CNC feature mounts on either coiling pin holder and changes the
angle of the tool to allow optimization of the initial tension or
"pretension" of each coil in the spring.
