The welding unit with annealer is mounted on a mobile carrier which also holds the enclosure for the machines electronics. The machines are durable and easy to operate. Transformer and all critical moving parts enclosed within the frame.

V20 Programmable Control for Welding and Annealing

For post weld annealing applications, the weld piece receives a preset tempering anneal while still in the welding jaws, so it can be moved to the final annealing jaws without risk of damage. The V 20 programmable control regulates nine welding and anealing output and time parameters. It has a membrane keypad for data entry, an LCD display, password protected data entry, ignition monitoring and voltage compensation. The V20 can recognize and compensate for voltage variations of ±8%. The supply frequency is automatically recognized. The integrated SD card slot allows for simple and quick exchange and backup.

Mechanical settings for welding are easily made: welding jaw starting distance and weld upset pressure are both set at one time with a single lever, conveniently mounted on top of the unit. The operator positions the lever opposite the correct wire diameter mark on a graded scale. The weld pieces are then clamped in the welding jaws and butted together. Another lever actuates the automatic welding cycle.

Strecker machines are delivered ready for connection, with a 5 year normal use guarantee, excluding the parts which contact the weld piece.
