FMU
and FMK  Extremely Versatile - Highly Efficient
High Performance
Multi-axis CNC Universal Spring & Wire Forming Machines
Complex parts formed to completion - with high precision - using simple tooling

FMU  unmatched for range of motion, forming almost any spring type or complicated wire form complete, in one operation, using a high degree of standard tooling, at high speed and with great efficiency. FMK perfect complement to the FMU. Economical production of single and double torsion springs and wire forms. Employs a unique system reducing need for multiple individual axes.

These machines also offer high output, high precision, and the widest practical operating range of any comparable machine series. All models work effectively with high tensile spring wire - at the maximum diameter specified for each of the models.

Touch screen operator interface is extremely powerful yet easy to master, for fast setting of a wide variety of spring types and wire forms with high efficiency. This system eliminates the need for time consuming manual tool position adjustment, not only for standard tools but also those occasions when custom tools are necessary. The robust, highly engineered,  mechanical base provides a firm foundation for accurate, long term reliable performance of the multiple axes.

Each model has its standard tooling set for the entire spring wire diameter range of that machine. The standard tool set consists of feeding, guiding, coiling, bending and rotary forming tools, and number over 100 individual items for each size machine.

For these tools the FMU and FMK has stored information about size, configuration and bending characteristic in its online tool library. The same information can be developed and stored for custom tools created by the end user.
