FES 400C
A highly versatile and intelligent, two
spindle vertical spring end grinder that can
be efficiently optimized for
dry grinding with standard and superabrasive wheel materials.
This
machine can perform both downfeed and "crush" grinding
applications with 15.7 inch diameter (400mm) standard grinding wheels
(fused
Al Oxide composition) as well as the higher speed,
sintered
Al Oxide wheels and the very high speed, long wearing, and highly
efficient, CBN wheels.

The
machine
control has an operator interface that includes a flat panel monitor
with easy- to- read graphic display for all machine systems.
This
interface makes it possible to efficiently organize all of the various
grinding programs for the different wheel and grinding modes. Programs are
saved and recalled when needed, to shorten setup times, making this
system highly efficient as well as versatile.
