A versatile two spindle vertical spring end grinder that can
be efficiently optimized for dry grinding with standard and superabrasive
wheel materials.
This
machine can perform "crush" grinding applications with
15.7 inch diameter (400mm) standard grinding wheels (fused
Al Oxide composition) as well as the higher speed,
sintered
Al Oxide wheels and the very high speed, long wearing, and highly
efficient, CBN wheels.

The machine standard equipment includes frequency controlled wheel
drives, 80 m/sec max cutting speed, manual adjustment of the wheel height,
servo driven 16.5" diameter loading plate and manual wheel
dressing unit. Options include quick -lifting feature for the upper
wheel, manual wheel tilt feature, and index-action movement for the
loading plate drive. |
